Responsibilities:
The Administrative Operations Lead provides a high level of administrative andoperational coordination and support for the Associate Dean of Finance & Administration.

The Administrative Operations Lead will direct coverage for the Office of the Dunton Family Dean, and act as a support for the Administrative Assistants within faculty areas. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing quarterly meetings for the Administrative Assistants, as well as coordinating trainings for new Administrative Assistants.

The Lead is responsible for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office operations; including scheduling, security, and building issues. This individual will oversee the operations and logistics of employee moves coordinated by Administrative Assistants and support the Manager of HR and Operations in ensuring that space blueprints are kept updated. Additional responsibilities include coordinating interviews, preparing onboarding and off boarding materials for staff and faculty and serving as a back-up SEVIS contact.

The person holding this job should demonstrate a high level of discretion and sound judgement and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This position requires taking initiative, problem solving skills, and the capacity to exercise independent judgement in a range of areas.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of related, progressive office and administrative experience, preferably in higher education.

  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint and advanced Excel spreadsheet experience important). Experience with Banner preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex material and work with confidential information. High level of confidentiality required.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; exceptional proofreading ability.

  • Must be able to take initiative and follow through on tasks independently, while exercising sound judgment. Demonstrated record of dependability and a strong work ethic required.
