Job Summary

Provides innovative leadership in supporting the University's graduate enrollment goals. Utilizes high-quality, data-driven, evidence-based enrollment decisions, and best practices in admission processing and enrollment management, while collaborating with faculty directors and coordinators across campus. Promotes recommendations for new recruitment ideas, marketing strategies, and process improvements that facilitate the University's graduate enrollment goals. Responsible for developing and administering policies and procedures, budgetary decisions, extensive scope and impact of decisions on both internal and external contacts. Requires supervising personnel and day-to-day program management and reporting under university-wide direction. Areas of focus are graduate domestic and international recruitment, operations and application processing, and overall CRM Administration of the Graduate Application and its associated activities.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides leadership and support to the assigned department, division, and university stakeholders
2. Leads the human capital efforts related to hiring, training, coaching, and providing developmental learning opportunities
3. Directs and administers the operation of services of the Office of Graduate Admissions within the Graduate College
4. Participates in the development of strategic, data-driven new student admissions recruitment, marketing, enrollment strategies and goals in collaboration with leadership
5. Communicates with prospective students, community partners, and graduate program stakeholders and staff to support a smooth in the graduate admissions process that leads to enrollment at Kennesaw State University
6. Directs and administers the CRM system operation of services to ensure the efficient and timely processing of applications to enrollment decision
7. Analyzes data regarding new student admissions to assess status toward goals, areas of concern, and relevant trends, and use of that data to adjust initiatives
8. Assesses and assists in developing needed technologies to increase service to students and efficiencies in processes
9. Actively engages with the College's management team; proposes ideas and solutions for the successful progress of the goals and initiatives regarding enrollment management
10. Develops, trains, implements, maintains, and communicates services and programs to relevant stakeholders
11. Collaborates with campus-wide units external to the assigned department to enhance services provided
12. Contributes and participates in the strategic planning process and future direction of the department/division
13. Executes reports related to record audits, interprets results, delivers analysis and implements needed resolutions
14. Responsible for effective departmental budget management by establishing cost controls and deliberate spending plans
15. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, NCAA, USG and Kennesaw State University rules and regulations

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience
Eight (8) years of related experience including previous management and/or supervisory roles

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Preferred Experience
Experience working with collegiate and in particular, graduate admissions
Experience supervising a large group of employees
Expert-level user of Higher Education CRM systems

Proposed Salary

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, BANNER, NolijWeb, DegreeWorks, CRM, and SAS reporting)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
