The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, we provide dental education to the next generation of professionals by offering hands-on education through innovative research, patient care, and service. Join other dental providers to improve the oral health of Georgia and beyond. The DCG was founded to provide the people of Georgia with quality dental care by educating students in dentistry. As a patient, you have the option to receive treatment in one of our three different practice models consisting of student clinics, resident care, or in the faculty practice. All dental treatments can be completed by the specialists in our facility. We also serve patients in more than 20 clinics across Georgia.
Job Summary
The Student Recruitment Coordinator will aid in the recruitment of qualified applicants for the Dental College of Georgia. This position will facilitate the University's recruitment plan in recruiting and admitting students within primary markets (Georgia and neighboring states). This position will build relationships with high school and college counselors, teachers, and principals to create recruiting efforts. The position will help coordinate AU and DCG regional events and participate in recruitment fairs, interest meetings, receptions, workshops, tours, and other programs. The position will participate in events, recruitment, and other activities on the AU campuses and throughout Georgia. The position may be required to participate in recruitment programs out of state. The position is responsible for responding to students, family, or other inquiries. The position will coordinate the recruitment efforts for special initiatives such as professional scholars, pathway programs, or other opportunities to boost recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
STUDENT RECRUITMENT, COLLEGE FAIRS, AND OTHER EVENTS: Travels to college fairs and other events assigned to meet prospective students and their parents, and answer questions from students and families. Schedules, coordinates, and conducts high school/college visits and speaking engagements in person and virtually. Composes appropriate correspondence for follow-up with prospective students. This person will continue to build relationships with high school and college counselors, teachers, and principals to create recruiting efforts. These efforts include advisements of potential applicants.
Manage/assist/implement special events/programs as assigned, but not limited to, interest meetings, accepted student receptions, recruitment workshops, tours, and counselor relations. This person will build relationships with AU groups and organizations such as Summer Academy, various health science groups AU Pre-dental society, Ignite the Dream, as well as other activities. These efforts include advisements of potential applicants.
DATA ANALYSIS: Help analyze data to create and implement recruitment tactics and programming to attract high-ability students to the DCG, any pipeline programs, and professional scholar programs at Augusta University.
COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA: Assist with all communications to prospective students including flyers, electronic communications, websites, and promotional items. Ensure social media presence is active and up to date.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with three years of experience in Recruitment, Marketing, or Higher Education.
Must have a valid driver's license and willingness/ability to travel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree preferred. Management skills related to supervision, planning, and familiarity with secondary and post-secondary school systems are also preferred.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)
Pay Band: B9
Salary: Minimum $48,800/annually
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum midpoint) of the position.

Conditions of Employment
All selected candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University.

Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.
