JOB SUMMARY

The Enrollment Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing a marketing and communication plan with differentiated messaging for prospective adult learners seeking online, in person and hybrid programs. The Manager will ensure that individual communications contain relevant and up-to-date information, consistently reflect the Simmons brand, and are distributed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This Manager will be responsible for maintaining concise data reports and will provide analysis on the effectiveness of individual tactics, as well as overall plans.

Working closely with the enrollment and admission team, the Manager will create and distribute effective communication to community college partners, highlighting new initiatives and benefits, with the goals of relationship building and expanding transfer student enrollment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • In partnership with Enrollment Management and the Office of Undergraduate Admission, manage and execute communication sequences to prospective and accepted adult learners and transfer students.
  • Develop communications in various formats including, but not limited to, email, letters, print publications, postcards and texts.
  • Strategize with the marketing and admission team to develop and enhance lead generation and lead nurture strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the admission and enrollment team on new recruitment and marketing initiatives to grow the adult learner population.
  • Evaluate current trends and student expectations with regard to content and delivery method and adjust communication strategy as necessary.
  • Create and manage social media for prospective adult learners, including coordinating social media posts, monitoring social media sites daily and responding directly when appropriate, in accordance with University social media policies.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors, as well as Simmons Web team, to coordinate digital advertising and Undergraduate Admission web presence.
  • Ensure all communications and messaging are consistent across all platforms, create and implement strategies to ensure consistency is maintained.
  • Write and/or update content for publications including emails, letters, print collateral, and social media.
  • Create and distribute monthly marketing/communications reports to ensure data informed decision making and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to marketing, communication and enrollment of adult learners, across all relevant programs and modalities.


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support recruitment events, with the creation and updating of presentations and other materials needed for online and in person sessions and events.
  • Participate on the University Transfer Student Success Team.
  • Participate in Marketing and Admission team meetings, trainings and planning sessions
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in marketing or communications preferably in higher education or a related field, with a focus on online, transfer, and/or adult learners.
  • Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, databases, and virtual communication tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic communication plans.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with the CRM Slate, or similar student engagement tools

WORK ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Remote Eligibility: Hybrid (with minimal travel).
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 12-month position, 40 hours per week; occasional evening and weekend work required for online or in person events.
  • Environment: Office
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional (limited) conference and meeting travel
  • Physical Demands: Primarily a sedentary role, with some standing and walking required for recruitment events.
