About the Opportunity:
Small research oriented machine shop looking for an Experimental Machinist to perform machining related duties to include design, construct, adjust, or repair specialized scientific instruments, maintain all equipment and follow all safety regulations. Minimum of five years experience as an Instrument Maker / Machinist in a Research and / or Development environment to include; experience with machining all standard metals and plastics to close tolerances.

Combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a Model shop/Experimental machining environment. Competencies are required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the job successfully.
