About the Opportunity:
The Audit Quality Coordinator position is responsible for managing departmental audit processes, systems, and administration to promote delivery of audit services of the highest quality. This position reports to and serves as a key role for the Vice President in preserving the quality and consistency of audit deliverables. The Audit Quality Coordinator will:
  • Independently identify opportunities to improve audit processes and work collaboratively with the Audit & Advisory Services team to strengthen methodologies for assurance and advisory engagements.
  • Provide oversight for audit standards, planning, reporting, scheduling, content management, and other matters.
  • Review audit workpapers to ensure adherence with Institute of International Standards (IIA) Professional Standards and departmental standards.
  • Serve as the key administrator for the department's audit software solution and website.
  • Prepare engaging audit deliverables including reports and presentations through the use of creative design and strategic content to support the team's efforts. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all administrative operations for Audit & Advisory Services. This includes scheduling, purchasing, marketing, space, training, and inventories.
  • Manage and\or assist on advisory projects and audits as necessary.

    Qualifications:
    Candidate for this position should possess:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required
    • Minimum of 3-5 years required of administrative experience required preferably in higher education or client service setting
    • Must have excellent computer and presentation skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. Database and web skills preferred
    • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage others in a wide variety of activities
    • High professional standards with the ability to handle confidential information
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
    • Must demonstrate proven ability to interact with any level of management from all areas of campus as well as external contacts
