Job ID: 251611Position #: 40049253 The Department of Radiology and Imaging at Augusta University, AU, Georgia's premier Health Sciences University, is recruiting for a full-time Neuroradiologist at the academic rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Academic rank is commensurate with training and experience. The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty that operates in a collaborative academic environment with the Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuro-oncology, Neuro-ophthalmology, ENT, orthopedics, and others.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include a combination of patient care and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. The position offers a strong salary line and excellent fringe benefits package.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must be eligible for board certification in Georgia, ABR certified in Diagnostic Radiology, fellowship trained in neuroradiology, and hold a neuroradiology CAQ or CAQ eligibility.

College/Department Information
The Department is equipped with two 256-slice CT scanners and one 128-slice scanner, three MRI scanners (Two 3 Tesla and one 1.5 Tesla MRI). The Nuclear Medicine section has been completely renovated with state of the art equipment to include SPECT/CT as well as a Philips PET/CT.
