Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $113,000.00
Maximum $113,000.00

Job Summary

Provide instruction, advisement, evaluation of student performance, and supervision to Physician Assistant (PA) students that culminate in the fulfillment of programmatic competencies. To design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the PA curriculum and program. To support and propagate the mission of the College of Health Sciences and the institution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to the practice of a Physician Assistant.

Knowledge of the skills and tasks that are performed by a primary care Physician Assistant.

Effective skills in oral and written communication.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and possessing a Masters Degree
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) full-time higher education teaching years and a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
LICENSURE: Active California Physician Assistant License; Active NCCPA Certification
