Job Summary

We seek to hire a postdoctoral researcher associate to lead a research project investigating facets of neuronal cell biology. Some key responsibilities will be to design and execute experiments, interpret results, quantify data, and present results in written and oral formats.

Who We Are

The Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology Department - Eichel Lab. MCDB is located on the main Boulder CU campus. MCDB research labs focus on diverse, cutting-edge biological topics. The Eichel lab is interested in identifying the mechanisms by which neurons establish and maintain their elaborate polarized architecture.


What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Some key responsibilities will be to design and execute experiments, interpret results, quantify data, and present results in written and oral formats.




What We Can Offer

The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $65,000 annually.

What We Require

  • Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, neuroscience or a related field
  • Experience performing cell biological experiments
  • Experience using live cell microscopy
  • Strong background in molecular biology and genetics


What You Will Need

  • Experience using electron microscopy
  • Experience performing cell biological experiments in neurons
  • Experience working with mammalian systems or C. elegans
