The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at CU Boulder is seeking a PostDoctoral Associate to perform research on optical atomic clocks.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


Use laser-cooled, optically-trapped atoms to explore the frontiers of advanced optical timekeeping through application of new quantum control techniques and precision measurement.

What We Require

  • Completed Ph.D. in Atomic Physics or Quantum Engineering.
  • Completed two years of postdoctoral research experience in Atomic Physics or Quantum Engineering.


What You Will Need

  • Experience in laser cooling, ultracold quantum systems, optical lattices, and laser frequency stabilization.
