The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at CU Boulder is seeking a PostDoctoral Associate to perform research on optical atomic clocks.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Use laser-cooled, optically-trapped atoms to explore the frontiers of advanced optical timekeeping through application of new quantum control techniques and precision measurement.

What We Require

Completed Ph.D. in Atomic Physics or Quantum Engineering.
Completed two years of postdoctoral research experience in Atomic Physics or Quantum Engineering.

What You Will Need

Experience in laser cooling, ultracold quantum systems, optical lattices, and laser frequency stabilization.
