Classification Pay Scale
In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Expected Pay Scale
Minimum: $75,000
Maximum $85,000
Job Summary
Provides executive level services to the Office of the Provost, WesternU Oregon. Streamlines workflow and manages administrative affairs relating to the day-today and long-term functions of the Office of the Provost, WesternU Oregon. Must function and serve effectively and efficiently in a demanding environment while maintaining confidentiality and accommodating shifting priorities and multiple projects and deadlines.
Position reports directly to the Associate Vice President, WesternU Oregon.

Individuals must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be capable of exercising independent judgment in making decisions
Must handle sensitive issues with utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage and coordinate complex meeting schedules and arrangements.
Possess exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer relation skills to effectively interact with faculty, students, administration, staff, and external contacts.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven reputation for taking initiative when needed and appropriate.
Must represent the Office of the Provost, WesternU Oregon in a highly professional manner to both internal and external constituents.
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage crises, advocating for resolution of problems in a calm and efficient manner.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible in job assignments, and maintain strict adherence to deadlines.
Advanced computer skills with demonstrated experience using office software and email applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook or other calendaring systems.
Required Qualifications
Education: Any combination, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience: 3+ years prior executive assistant level or equivalent experience.

Education: BS/BA degree preferred.
