Position Description
Provides professional, highly technical expertise in the application of engineering principles, techniques and methods.

Major/Essential Functions

Provides professional, highly technical expertise in the application of engineering principles, techniques and methods.
Conduct technical tasks in applied engineering research projects to support the Institute of Sustainability and Circular Economy (ISCE) and the Center for Advanced Sustainable Fertilizer Production (CASFER).
Process design and construction of prototypes.
Modify, operate, and/or support of bench/pilot plants units
Develop operational procedures.
Evaluate and optimize processes.
Write technical reports, procedures, and project proposals.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; three years professional work experience related to the specific assigned area.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
1 year of experience operating electrochemical systems or pilot plants
