Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Job Summary

To assist Principal Investigator in completing research project/s.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Familiar with computer systems including UNIX/LINUX.

2. Familiar with Python programming language.

3. Familiar with databases and the SQL database managing language.

4. Familiar with interactive website design.

5. Excellent documentation using, e.g., jupyter notebooks and git/github version control.

6. Excellent communication skills including explaining work to other lab members.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION: Current upper level undergraduate or graduate student in computer science or a related field, such as bioinformatics or data science.

Preferred Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: 6 months experience working with the above skills preferred.
Hands-on experience with database handling and website design.
