This role is an exciting opportunity to join the growing team of Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Director of Student Services, the Program Manager will provide crucial support in ensuring the smooth execution of various program management-related activities for the existing Executive Masters in Business Administration degree (EMBA Dubai) and the forthcoming M.A. in International Business and Policy degree (IBP Dubai), which Georgetown's School of Foreign Service jointly offers. Key responsibilities include assisting with program operations, student support, and faculty and academic support to ensure that all facets of the degree programs are delivered with quality, high-touch and professionalism. This level of effort extends to off-site activities in Dubai, UAE, as well as international components such as the Global Business Experience (GBE) and other residencies or modules held abroad. Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Assist with program management tasks to help meet academic goals.
- Work with the Academic Director(s) to administer student surveys on program quality and gather feedback from students and faculty for program improvement.
- Assist in monitoring program quality, identifying areas for improvement, and helping implement better systems and processes.
- Support the exploration and implementation of new technology tools to improve program administration and student services.
- Help respond to student inquiries, provide guidance on program schedules, and assist with addressing any issues or concerns during the program.
- Assist faculty in distributing learning resources to students.
Work Interactions
The Program Manager reports to the Director of Student Services and will work closely with the Dubai team, including the Academic/Program Director(s), and in Washington, DC, the Office of the Dean and Vice Deans, Graduate & Executive Degree Programs, Admissions and Finance, as well as other central offices on Main Campus. This position will require regular communication and collaboration with mid-career to executive students, seasoned faculty, and diverse staff across the university and different time zones, as well as external vendors and service providers. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a small but dynamic team are essential for success in this role.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Professional with 2+ years of experience in operations/program management or equivalent
- Ability to work well with mid to senior executives and faculty members, as well as a deep commitment to establishing strong relationships with students enrolled in each of the Dubai-based degree programs
- Must be capable of working efficiently with Canvas, Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel, as well as the Google Suite of software
- Must have a fresh perspective creating enthusiasm around a shared vision for operational efficiency and customer service
- Familiarity with the Middle East region
- Must physically reside in Dubai or be willing to relocate to Dubai at their own expense
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education or a customer-centric industry (e.g. hospitality, retail)
- International experience is highly desirable
- Delivery of graduate & executive education and/or corporate training is a plus

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
