The Robert K. Johnson Integrated Studies Program at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) invites applications for one full-time one-year lectureship for academic year 2025-26, with the possibility of renewal based on a review and approval of the Dean. The successful applicant will join a team teaching an innovative first-year curriculum across the liberal arts. Lecturers from the humanities, sciences, and social sciences will be expected to collaborate on all aspects of the delivery of the course, and influence its design and direction. They will facilitate seminar sections, grade assignments, and be expected to contribute to the overall intellectual life of the program. The position is eligible for University benefits. Eligibility is limited to applicants who will have received their Ph.D. within five years prior to the time they begin their position at Penn (August 2020 or later).
